DataWORQ Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: What happens when I stop a container? Do I lose my data?
- A: In general, when you stop a container, the state of that container is saved. This means that when stopping and restarting containers, all your flows, data connections, and imported files will still be there. Flows and jobs still need to be saved in the application itself.
- Q: Does importing via the Admin Tool blow away any changes I’ve made in DataWORQ?
- A: Yes, importing via the Admin Tool will wipe away any previously imported/created content, like flows and jobs.
- Q: Do I have to start DataWORQ via the Admin Tool? Can I start it via Podman Desktop?
- A: DataWORQ itself needs to be started via the Admin Tool. The DataWORQ specific containers can’t be started in Podman Desktop.
- Q: How do I share my created content with others?
- A: DataWORQ allows you to export and import flows, as well as files directly. NB: In order to import flows, you need to first import the flow as a file in the File Management screen, and then import that flow file in the Flow Management screen.
