Description
The Sort node sorts a column or group of columns from the preceding node.
Configuration Options
Basic Configuration Options
Setting | Description\Parameters |
---|---|
Sort Ascending | When checked, the output dataset will be sorted according to Columns to Sort . |
Unsorted Columns | The node initially shows all available fields from the preceding node on the left side of the selector box, either one or all fields can be moved to the right side. The order on the right side is the precedence of the sort order. |
Columns to Sort | This node sorts a column or group of columns ascending based on the order which they are added to the right side of the field screen. This has the same effect on a source as using the 'ORDER BY' SQL function. This node outputs ALL the columns from the preceding node with identified field(s) sorted. |
